FANSCOUT / THE FINE PRINT

Terms of Service

The ground rules for our fan community.

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Using FanScout

These Terms of Service govern your use of FanScout’s website, mobile apps, and related services, operated by Danielle Brear (“we,” “us”). By using FanScout, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, use FanScout only with a parent or guardian’s permission. Provide accurate account information, protect your account, and contact support@fanscoutapp.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

What FanScout provides

FanScout helps fans discover games, venues, communities, and related activities. Schedules, broadcasts, venue information, offers, and user contributions may be incomplete or change without notice. Confirm important details directly with the venue or event organizer. A watch plan, check-in, or listing is not a reservation or guarantee of admission, seating, availability, or a particular broadcast. AI assistant responses may be inaccurate and should be checked before you rely on them.

Community standards

Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, discriminate against, or exploit others; post unlawful or infringing content; share someone else’s private information without permission; send spam; manipulate votes or check-ins; or misuse promotions. Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or bypass security or access controls. You must follow applicable laws and the rules of venues you visit, including age restrictions for alcohol.

FanScout has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This includes harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual or graphic content, and spam in chats, groups, profiles, and anything else you post. We may remove that content and suspend or permanently close the accounts responsible without notice.

You can report a person, group, or chat message from inside the app, or email support@fanscoutapp.com. We review reports within 24 hours and act on content that violates these standards. You can also block another fan at any time. Blocking hides their messages and group activity from you and stops them from sending you friend requests.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate and provide FanScout, including through our service providers. You must have the rights necessary to submit it. Public or shared content may be seen or copied by others. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these terms or create safety, legal, or operational risks.

Venues and third-party services

Venues, teams, leagues, event organizers, and third-party providers are responsible for their own services and offerings. Their appearance on FanScout does not by itself imply affiliation or endorsement. Separate terms may apply to third-party services. If you manage a venue or community, you must be authorized to do so and keep information and offers accurate. Any separately agreed commercial terms continue to apply.

FanScout intellectual property

FanScout’s software, designs, and original materials are owned by its operator or licensors and protected by applicable law. You may use them as part of the service, but these terms do not transfer ownership or authorize copying or distributing them outside what the law permits. Third-party names, logos, and marks remain the property of their owners.

Availability and disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, FanScout is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free results, or the conduct of other users or venues. You are responsible for your choices about attending events and meeting others. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data arising from your use of FanScout. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited, including any applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using FanScout at any time and request account deletion through the mobile app’s profile controls or by contacting us. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms, safety or security concerns, or discontinuation of the service. We may update these terms and will revise the date on this page and provide additional notice where required. Changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.
